HTTPS secures the connection to the website you are visiting. I’m sure you have seen this in action; look at the address bar in the browser and find the lock icon on the left-hand side. Is the lock closed? Then the connection is secure. The “title tags”, or the title of a blog post, is one of the crucial aspects when it comes to getting a better ranking on search engine result pages. The title tags not only tell search engines what your web page is all about, but also leave the first impression on the people who see your post title in the search results. There are many theories, some backed by data, that show Google uses user metrics such as bounce rate, click through rate, time on site, etc. when determining the relevancy of a piece of content to the searcher’s query. If your site doesn't load properly on mobile platforms, then you're wasting your time with SEO. You need a site that's responsive. It needs to work properly on desktop and mobile, and it needs to load quickly.
Enhance your CTR and user experience
All too often, when we’re brought in for SEO work on a redesign, it’s often late in the process, such as when the site is being coded or even totally complete. “Hey, we should probably have the SEO guy take a look at this before we launch,” but by then, it’s too late. Sometimes, all that you need are five to 10 relevant links, from authoritative sites, to begin seeing results from Google and other search engines. Mobile friendliness is an important ranking factor for search rankings. More and more users are using their mobile devices to surf the internet. In some areas, over 70% of users visit websites on mobile. What does this mean for you? Every sitepage should be optmized for mobile. Every. Single. One. Brands need to meet customers where they are in order to provide them information; but without data, this is impossible. Data can let brands know what their customers search for and what they want to see when they make these queries."

Today, many sites use secondary menus to accommodate for additional content. Loads of site-owners can’t help but state that they “can’t squeeze all they have to say in just a few pages.” While an SEO might not be your start-to-finish website design resource they should certainly be involved in design and usability, and there comes a time in every website’s life when SEO and website design collide head-on: the website refresh. Sometimes called curation blogging, content curation means posting collections of useful links, videos, podcasts, infographics, and other resources on a specific theme, along with a little informed commentary. Your homepage is the most important and likely your strongest webpage. The link power (AKA link juice) is distributed from the homepage to all other subpages. Ideally, you should distribute the link juice evenly to all other subpages through internal links and easy navigation menus.
