Meta descriptions don’t carry as much value as they used to, but they still have an important role for SEO. Each of your posts should have a unique title and meta description. Make sure all are unique and you don’t have any duplicate ones. The ability for a piece of content to earn natural links that positively contribute to a website’s link graph is directly proportional to that contents value. In other words, the more valuable the piece of content is, the easier it will be to earn high-value links and increase Google traffic. Conversely, the less valuable a piece of content is, the harder it will be to earn links. Your keyword list should be a living document that you check and update at least once a month. Think about Long Tail Keywords
Educational content can be described as content that teaches people something or helps answer one of their questions. Having a blog is a great way to consistently provide your readers (and search engine surfers) with new, informative content. The articles are typically short and have key takeaways or downloadable resources attached to them. These types of resources make great pages for other sites to link to. Although word count doesn’t rule the SEO world – nobody will read your stuff if it’s not helpful to them. Linking to highly popular or trusted websites, news pages, blogs and message boards is an excellent way to add credibility to your own website. If you’re pulling proof for the claims you make from sources which a majority of other people already trust, it can only help you to make more conversions from your website visitors and ultimately lead to an increase in sales.
