Expand your RSS feeds as necessary

Mobile SEO is a challenge for digital marketers. The screen being small and of low resolution hinders searches from scrolling down to the bottom of a page, let alone be going to the next page. It’s not enough these days to create a website then sit back and wait for your customers to find it. As 80% of UK customers use Google to search on the internet, it’s vital that your site is optimised to meet Google’s search engine criteria. This is known as Search Engine Optimisation or SEO. Although they’re fairly easy to forget about once they’re made, making sure that your listings are consistent is really important. The gibberish score helps with that. One part of SEO many have heard of is keyword research. After all, every time we use a search engine, we’re using a keyword (the name is a misnomer, most keywords have more than one word in them!)

Don’t forget about authority sites

Frequent link audits can save your site from the dangers of negative SEO. If you constantly monitor your links, it’s easier to spot a sudden change before it becomes uncontrollable. If search engines notice the same copy repeating itself throughout your site, they will take the value of your content less seriously. Website owners used to litter their content with tons of keywords in order to rank higher on Google. Now, the search engine penalizes for those practices. Page resources that don’t load can cause content to not be shown, displayed incorrectly and break interactive content. The difference between the two types of methods is deception.

Reasons that marketers love keywords

They simply didn’t expect it would become significant. What if your competitor is way more descriptive and helpful? A backlink is a reference comparable to a citation. The quantity, quality, and relevance of backlinks for a web page are among the factors that search engines like Google evaluate in order to estimate how important the page is. Keyword research can be done using free tools. Search Engine Optimization (SEOis the process of understanding searcher behavior and audiences, and optimizing web content to deliver a relevant experience. It cares whether your page can actually help someone.

Think about keyword research from the start

We asked an SEO Specialist, Gaz Hall, for his thoughts on the matter: "META tags are pieces of HTML code which some search engines use in evaluating the content of a website." Do your maths - its one of the primary resources for this sort of thing. Its as simple as KS2 Maths. Really! Since Google only wants to deliver the best possible results to its users, it will push sites with strong engagement up in the search engine results pages (SERPs). One of the most common problems for webmasters who run both mobile and desktop versions of a site is that the mobile version of the site appears for users on a desktop computer, or that the desktop version of the site appears when someone accesses it on a mobile device. Page copy should be informative and of interest to you readers. Don’t write it just for the robots, write for the humans that will be visiting. Yes you need to include keywords here but only if they make sense. Once again, do not keyword stuff your copy, you’ll only get yourself penalised. Remove the content.

Expand your RSS feeds as necessary

It’s fairly easy to spot an online review written by an employee or owner of a company. 40% of all sales could be online by 2020. In the past, Google’s algorithm was not quite clever or sophisticated enough to ignore the poor quality links these techniques garnered but that is changing. The Panda and Penguin updates represent perhaps Google’s most aggressive attempt to clean up its search results and in turn, this is having a major impact on the approach that needs to be taken to link building in particular. I always thought if it improves user experience and is better than what’s there in those long tail searches at present, who’s complaining? Write legible, readable copy, and treat the meta description as if it’s an advert for your web-page

What Is Good Content?

When optimizing sites for SEO most people concentrate on text searches, ignoring the vast number of image searches performed each day. To help a webpage rank for a specific keyword, focus on “optimizing” for the keyword instead of “stuffing” in the keyword. Use the target term in all the right places. And, as Google’s quality guidelines explain, “Focus on creating useful, information-rich content that uses keywords appropriately and in context.” Nearly, 74% of consumers use search engines to find local business information. They firstlaunched Google Wave, which was a copy of Facebook, but it failed within a week. Whether you purchase a separate domain (recommended) for your blog, or host it on a blogging service or a subdomain of your own site, try to ensure that your URL contains the primary keyword you want to optimize for.
